CANCELLATIONS & MONEY

Return and Refund Policy

Field sells participation in organized football services rather than physical goods. This policy explains cancellation refunds, deposits, and failed bookings.

Every paid booking stores the policy version that applied at checkout. A later policy change does not retroactively change that confirmed booking.

A late-cancellation reliability consequence applies.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers paid solo bookings, clan match fees, conditional reliability deposits, and other match charges shown by Field. There is no physical product to return.

The exact refund, reliability consequence, and deposit outcome is shown before a user confirms cancellation and is calculated using Field's server time in Bahrain.

2. Standard player and clan cancellations

Under the current standard policy, cancelling at least 24 hours before kickoff returns 100% of the base match fee. Cancelling from 10 hours up to 24 hours before kickoff returns 50%. Cancelling less than 10 hours before kickoff, after kickoff, or not attending returns 0% of the base fee.

Solo and clan consequences are calculated separately, but the standard refund percentages are currently the same. The app shows any strikes or forfeit effect before cancellation.

3. Field, venue, or administrative cancellation

If Field or the venue cancels a match and the player or clan is not at fault, the affected base fee is refunded in full and no reliability strike applies. An administrator may also approve a full refund when resolving missing or disputed match data.

If a match is stopped, forfeited, abandoned, or disputed because of participant conduct, the reviewed outcome and the policy attached to that match determine the refund.

4. Reliability deposits

A conditional reliability deposit may be charged when a player or clan reaches the active-strike threshold. The deposit is separate from the base match fee and is clearly itemized before payment.

Under the current policy, an eligible on-time player receives the deposit back as Field Wallet credit after the match is settled. Clan deposits return after an eligible clean completion. Late attendance, specified late cancellations, forfeits, or no-shows may forfeit the deposit. The checkout and cancellation preview show the exact outcome.

5. Payment received but booking not completed

If payment succeeds but Field cannot finalize the booking, the transaction is marked for reconciliation. Field will either confirm the intended booking safely or issue the amount due back without charging the user twice.

Keep the payment reference and contact hello@field.bh if the status remains unresolved. Do not repeat payment unless the app clearly confirms that the earlier attempt failed or expired.

6. Refund destination and timing

Policy refunds are currently credited to Field Wallet unless Field states otherwise or applicable law requires another method. Processor reversals or payment corrections may return to the original payment method.

Field Wallet credits normally appear after the match or cancellation is finalized. Original-method timing depends on the payment provider and bank. The app or support team will show whether a refund is pending, completed, or needs attention.

7. Questions, errors, and appeals

If you believe attendance, cancellation time, payment, or refund data is wrong, report it through Field support with the match and payment reference. Reliability appeals must be submitted within the window shown in the app; the current standard window is 48 hours.

An approved refund continues processing while a related match-data dispute is reviewed. This policy does not limit any mandatory right available under Bahrain consumer law.
